Who is Samarit Medical AG and what does the company do?
Samarit Medical AG is a Swiss inventor and manufacturer of innovative patient care products. It was founded with the aim of reducing the workload of nursing staff in both hospitals and home care and improving patient care. Well-known products include the ‘Samarit Rollbord®, a lift-free transfer system patented in 1988, as well as numerous other intelligent aids developed in collaboration with doctors, nursing staff and engineers.

Where are Samarit products manufactured?
Our products are developed in Switzerland and manufactured to high quality standards. This guarantees durability, precision and tested safety.

Products & application

For which patient groups are Samarit products suitable?
Samarit products are suitable for patients of all ages who need assistance with transfers, mobility or positioning. Our systems are particularly frequently used in hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation centres, retirement and nursing homes, and in home care.

Can spare parts or accessories for our products be ordered separately?
Yes, spare parts and accessories are available for many of our products. Simply contact our customer service team. Please note that availability may vary depending on the product. Spare parts are usually stored for up to 15 years, so you can use your devices for a long time.

How can I purchase Samarit products?

Does Samarit have international partners or distributors?
Yes, we work with over 80 distribution partners in more than 70 countries worldwide. Interested companies can contact our sales department directly.

Are there discounts for care facilities or retailers?
Yes, care facilities and retailers receive special discounts from us. To take advantage of this, contact our sales department or register as a care facility or retailer in our online shop. Once Samarit has reviewed and approved your registration, you will receive the special discounts.

Question: How quickly will my order be delivered?
Within Switzerland, delivery takes 1-3 days, and for Germany, the delivery time is usually 7 days. For international orders, the delivery time depends on the destination country and shipping method.

Warranty, Service & Support

How long is the warranty on Samarit products?
The products have a warranty of 24 to 36 months, depending on the model. Details can be found in the respective product manual, which is included with each product, or on our website www.samarit.com under the heading Documents.

Does Samarit offer training courses or product demonstrations?
Yes, we offer product training courses and online presentations for care facilities, retailers and specialist staff. We are happy to arrange individual appointments. In addition, you will find numerous instructional videos on how to use our products on our website and on YouTube.

Sustainability & quality

Does Samarit focus on sustainable production?
Yes, we pay attention to durable materials, resource-saving production and the possibility of offering spare parts for 15 years instead of replacing entire products.
